Krasnodar Region delegation takes part in Russia–China EXPO

The 10th anniversary exhibition is being held fr om 17 to 21 May 2026 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, Peoples Republic of China. The delegation from the Krasnodar Region is led by Deputy Governor Alexander Ruppel.

The highlight of the event will be the 6th RussiaChina Forum on Interregional Cooperation, wh ere participants will discuss prospects for deepening the partnership between Russian and Chinese regions, as well as specific projects in the fields of industry, innovation, and trade. The forum will serve as a platform for networking, exchanging experiences, and shaping joint development strategies.

«This year marks the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Good-Neighbourliness and Friendly Cooperation between the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation. The Krasnodar Region has forged close, long-standing ties with its Chinese partners through town twinning schemes. We have taken this opportunity to arrange a meeting with the authorities of Heilongjiang Province to discuss elevating our relations to an interregional level and implementing bilateral projects,» said Alexander Ruppel.

The EXPO programme includes exhibitions, business activities, and cultural events. The venue showcases displays by Russian and Chinese companies, as well as regions of the Russian Federation and provinces of the People's Republic of China. The business programme features forums, round-table discussions, and seminars focusing on interregional, trade and economic, investment, and scientific and technological cooperation.

The programme of the Krasnodar Region delegation includes a meeting with the Deputy Representative of the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, a wreath-laying ceremony at the monument to Soviet soldiers, visits to Chinese enterprises, and talks with Chinese partners at the EXPO stands.
